Frequently asked questions

What counts as a "conversation" in the plan?
A conversation is a chat opened in the widget. How many bot replies or tool calls happen inside doesn't count extra — one conversation stays one conversation, even over several hours. If the monthly limit is reached, you can either upgrade the plan or extend the current month's limit via extra-conversations.
How does BYOK work?
In AI settings you enter your OpenAI, Anthropic, Mistral or Gemini key. From save onwards, all chat calls of your workspace are billed against your key — you pay the provider directly, we add 0 surcharge. Embeddings still run on OpenAI; if you BYOK'd there too, your key is used.
Can I cancel monthly?
Yes. Cancel monthly subscriptions in the Stripe portal with one click. No minimum term. Yearly subscriptions run out the paid period and don't renew automatically.
Where is the data stored?
Backend, Postgres with pgvector, file storage — all in EU data centres. The only cross-border data transfers are the LLM calls themselves, and only when you use US providers like OpenAI. With Mistral (EU) or your own Anthropic setup in an EU region, you stay fully in the EU.
What about custom models / self-hosted?
In every plan: you can point us at any OpenAI-compatible endpoint — your own vLLM or Ollama setup, for instance. Single-tenant deployment on your infrastructure is arranged individually.
What does the Slack escalation setup look like?
In team-chat settings, click "Connect with Slack", authorise the app in your Slack workspace, pick the target channel. From then on escalated conversations land as a Slack thread; your team replies straight from Slack back into the widget chat. No bot-token copy-paste, no webhook entry.
